Jackie wants a divorce and Pete does not even know that she is just so bored with their relationship, their sex and their every moment together. But, as a divorce lawyer, Jackie knows that a divorce will bring endless problems for her. After all, she is the only earner in the household and has paid for everything…
Starting with the vague idea that she will drive him to divorce, a new resolve rises from the ashes of their marriage as she realises that she can actually have her cake and eat it. In fact, Jackie starts to see that there are going to be so many pleasures in store, especially since her mother, the aptly named Karen, has always had it in for Pete and is more than ready to help her get the better of him. It takes three to tango!
That Jackie’s mother and Pete end up in a compromising situation is just the first part of the plan that soon develops. As Jackie realises that she enjoys tormenting Pete, her moves become more definite and he is soon entangled in skeins of doubt, guilt, misconduct and shame that his wife uses to increase the level of control she has in the relationship.
The problem is that evidence will be required for a divorce… and Jackie knows just how she can get it. All she has to do is to ease him on to a path that leaves no way out. This is going to be a divorce that the courts never see, in other words a rather cruel divorce! This can only end in one way, and for sure Pete is going to find himself trapped in his wife’s new found dominant lifestyle.

My intention was to write a novella, but the tale started to tell itself and extended to well past the 20,000 words that were planned for it. The difference was by no means padding and the result was a sweet novella that was most satisfying to write.
Though a revenge tale, a satisfactory outing for the woman who knows how hard divorce can be... It does bear some resemblances to 'Valedictions' though mainly superficially as it tends to BDSM rather than cuckoldry!
